1. Acceptance of Terms

2.1. Eligibility: The “NYC Teen Resume Challenge” (the “Contest”) is subject to the Official Rules posted on this Website. By registering for the Contest, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth in the Official Rules, including, but not limited to, being a resident of New York City and a high school student 19 years old or younger.
2.2. Mandatory Attendance: Participation and eligibility to win prizes in the Contest require mandatory attendance at all specified workshops. Failure to attend all mandatory sessions will result in disqualification from the prize portion of the Contest.
2.3. Agreement to Official Rules: These Terms incorporate the Contest’s Official Rules/Eligibility Disclaimer by reference. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail regarding the conduct, eligibility, and awarding of prizes for the Contest.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
3.1. Website Content: All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and the compilation thereof, is the property of NYC Teen Resume Challenge or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
3.2. User Submissions: By submitting a resume, application, or any other content (“User Submission”) to the Website or Contest, you grant the Contest organizers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such User Submission in connection with the operation and promotion of the Contest and the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, using submitted resumes (anonymously or otherwise, as specified in the Official Rules) for judging, educational purposes, testimonials, or promotional materials.
4. User Conduct and Responsibilities
4.1. Prohibited Uses: You agree not to use the Service:
- In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
- To submit any material that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, harassing, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
- To submit content that infringes upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights.
- To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm the Contest organizers or users of the Service.
